It's easy to enter letters with accents into Quizor® using your numeric keypad. For example, let's say you are trying to create a Spanish vocabulary test and you want to enter the word "mañana". Note that it contains an accent, or diacritic, above the first "n".
To get the ~ (tilde) to appear do this instead of entering the "n": First make sure your numeric keypad is active. There should be a light on your keyboard to indicate this. If the light is not on, press the key labeled "Num Lock". Now that your keypad is active press the "Alt" key and while holding it down enter 0241 using the keypad (not the top row of numbers on your keyboard). Now, release the "Alt" and the "ñ" will appear. Just like magic! Now enter the rest of the letters. These instructions are for those people using Microsoft Windows®. If you are using Linux, see the instructions below.
Here is a place for you to practice entering your accent codes:
Try to enter mañana to get the feel for it, but do it today not tomorrow. Get it? OK, it was a bad joke.

For Linux users, to get the ~ (tilde) to appear do this: Hold down the "Ctrl" and "Shift" keys at the same time, then press U, then enter F1. Now, release the "Ctrl" and "Shift" keys and the "ñ" will appear. F1 is the hex code for "ñ". Look here for the other hex codes available.
